Ok... I'll say it. Even when they say they will, investors rarely make introductions to other investors unless one or more of the following conditions are met: 1. The first investor has a strong personal relationship with you and is willing to use their reputational capital to vouch for you with the second investor. 2. The first investor has conducted a reasonable amount of due diligence on your deal and believes it would be relevant or intriguing to the second investor. 3. The first investor is either committed to investing in your company or is seriously contemplating doing so. So when you spam a hundred investors and some of them respond back with "hey, thanks for reaching out... not a fit for us", it's a questionable move to reply with, "yadda yadda, would be great if you would share our deal with other investors you know."
