It’s time to reward the champions and rethink the slackers. Assess Revenue Contribution: Break down revenue generated by each booking channel (e.g., direct website bookings, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), social media, email marketing, third-party partners). Determine which channels consistently bring in the most revenue and which may need improvement. Calculate ROI for Each Channel: For each booking channel, calculate the return on investment (ROI) by comparing the revenue generated against the costs associated with using that channel (e.g., commission fees, advertising costs). This will help you understand which channels are most cost-effective and deliver the best value. Monitor Customer Behavior by Channel: Analyze customer behavior across different channels. Do customers booking through your website tend to spend more on additional services, or do OTA customers book more frequently but spend less? Understanding these nuances can inform where to focus marketing and sales efforts. Prioritize Resource Allocation: Based on your analysis, decide where to allocate more or fewer resources.
