The ironic reason most marketing agencies are losing $$$. How to fix this (and get more leads) 3 years ago, you could launch a Meta campaign and easily get leads. Now, it’s not so simple - and here’s why. Customers do NOT trust ads. They’ve already seen 100s of ads and this makes them wary - especially when they only see you on a singular channel, meaning: Most marketing agencies are awful at marketing the company that matters most… Themselves. There are the 2 main issues I generally see: 1. Your wholistic strategy needs work + You specialise in 1 (or maybe 2) channels + You’re used to providing channel-specific expertise + You don’t have experience in running multichannel campaigns I wouldn’t expect you to. But if you want to build trust and awareness, You need to have a cohesive strategy across multiple channels so potential clients will: + See you in the right places + Trust that you’re leading the industry + Know you have the resources to get the results And it will save you from: → Inconsistent lead gen → Unpredictable monthly revenue → $1,000s marketing budget wasted 2. You’re too impatient You know how you always say to clients: “Good results take time, you need to wait at least 6 months to see results.” You should listen to yourself. Too often I see agencies executing their strategy for <2 months, deciding it doesn’t work and moving onto the next thing. How are you going to see results from that? Here’s how you’re going to fix this: 💡 1. Invest in key channels (don't rely on 1 or 2 channels) - SEO - Events - Branding - Google Ads - Email nurturing - Blog production - Website refresh - Meta for brand awareness 2. Optimise execution (this is where the $$ is at) - Set KPIs around leads - Hire a full-time marketing manager - Surround them with specialist contractors (avoid client facing resources) - Start with Google Ads and Meta - Venture into events - SEO & Content 3. Maintain a steady budget for 6+ months 4. Then ramp up the budget for months 6-12 Want me to share the timeline I recommend?
