An underrated trait? Being willing to find your own answers. Non-experts can get pretty far between Google, ChatGPT and slack forums these days. Which update would you rather receive as a manager? ✨I'm not sure this is right, but I researched it and this is what I think. 🥱I'm waiting for the expert to respond to me and until then I can't do anything. I think a lot of people are afraid of getting egg on their face by opining on areas they don't have deep experience in. Guess what? The more senior you get, the more you have to have opinions on a lot of things you're not an expert in. If we all waited around to take council from an expert for every little thing, we'd never get anywhere. Self serve first. Validate with experts second, where possible.

I had to Google what my job title means 🤣 This was before ChatGPT could explain it to me... My career to date has been pretty interesting, and also sometimes a tad confusing. But lately, it's becoming much clearer what my role is and how I can best support Sales teams. And I guess clarity comes with experience alone 👻 According to Hubspot, sales enablement provides sales teams with the resources they need to close more deals. Sounds simple right? NOT always so simple. What sales teams need to be successful includes an insane amount of things like learning & development, content, sales tools ... etc etc It also takes an insane amount of consideration & deliberation. Here are just some of the questions sales enablement deals with: 🤑 Which sales tools are the best to implement, and how do we get sales (A) to buy into them and (B) to adopt them ASAP? 😮 Which platforms do we use to communicate key information to sales, with so many messages vying for their attention? 👍 Where do you even begin to implement a new process that will actually land well, AND solve a sales problem? 👂How do you communicate with sales in in sales language, when "marketing speak" is your first language? 😱 And ACTUALLY... what ARE the problems you are solving?? Anyone else had to Google what their job means before? Tell me so I don't feel like a total weirdo 😜

Idea is important Execution is also important. You can generate ideas easily if you use any other thing like Google, chatgpt, other person But the real work is execute it. So focusing on ideas and Execution in 2:3 ratio is very good. So, How are you all? Let me know in the comment

Gen Z Doesn’t Google Here’s Why: ❌ No Trust. ❌ No Time. ❌ No Text. I am passionate about generational differences and search intent, which is why my favorite question to ask Gen Z lately is: “Do you use Google?” The answer? A not-so-surprising no. Instead, they turn to social search platforms or AI tools like ChatGPT for their inquiries. Googling is no longer the default for this generation. While older generations still rely on Google as their primary search tool, 46% of Gen Z prefers social searches. For many of us, Google has always been the go-to for quick, trusted research. So why isn’t that true for Gen Z? Here’s a fascinating insight from a chat I recently had with a younger coworker: “TikTok and ChatGPT feel like home – like a trusted friend. On TikTok, I see real people sharing their experiences or showcasing products. It’s authentic, not just a list of links or reviews that anyone could write. With ChatGPT, I save time – there’s no need to scroll through Google results, try to guess the right keywords, or click on multiple websites to find what I want.” Gen Z doesn’t trust Google, does not have time to Google, and does not want text-heavy answers generated by Google. So, this week marked the final week of The Marketing Meetup Summer School! ☀ In the last session, we wrapped up by learning about social platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn. There was a debate about whether LinkedIn could become the new Facebook. It’s no longer just a platform for jobs and CVs, but one where people connect and engage in conversations! Over the past four weeks, one key takeaway for me has been how easy it is to rely on ChatGPT. In the first week, we learned all about AI and used it in our homework tasks. As someone who isn’t always the best at articulating my thoughts, I found it easier to let ChatGPT write my posts, thinking they sounded better. However, I realized that I was losing the authenticity of what I truly wanted to say. Going forward, I’m going to do my best to ensure every post reflects my personal voice and not worry so much about writing a perfect post. Your competitors' blogs rank on Google doesn't mean they serve users' intent completely. They're not always right. But the challenge is— that everyone wants to copy them. Do this instead: 1. Go to Google News, search for the industry/topic you're writing about, and see what you see happening. 2. Check if you see anything about the same on Google Trends 3. Research about the trends, statistics, or research studies about the industry/topic 4. See what competitors have not covered but can be useful to the audience for this topic 5. Ask ChatGPT and Gemini to tell you why the specific audience would want to read the topic you're working on 6. Prepare the content outline based on what you've gathered in your research In short, there's more to your content research than competitor analysis. What's unique about your content research?
