As we wrap up this year’s BFCM sale for our skydiving drop zones, I wanted to share an interesting insight from the event. This chart shows how sales broke down across the five days of the sale. As expected, Black Friday dominated with 42.9% of total sales, but what surprised me was how strong Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday performed, accounting for 17.3% and 18% of sales, respectively. Saturday and Sunday were much quieter, which could reflect a natural dip in urgency during the holiday weekend. I’m curious: How do you time your promotions around major sales events like BFCM? Have you noticed similar trends in your business?

Another BFCM in the books! Who did it right? Best offers? What did YOU buy? Random thoughts-- Saw many brands, as per usual, increase their discounting until they got tot the highest offer on Cyber Monday- how do your customers like that when they see something a bit less expensive than when they bought it on Black Friday. What about the messaging around "extended"- And how do you feel when a brand sends you a note that they made a mistake with their site and they offer you something in return. Lots of really strong marketing tactics so share what you feel resonated the most-let's name, names!
