😀 PARENTS - It's important to build 'community' for our Children. "It Takes A Village To Raise A Child." So many of us live in different parts of the world nowadays. We don't always get the input of extended family to help us in how we parent and many feel left all alone. If you can't have family, or you chose to be away from family, then build community - BUT choose wisely! Surround your children with positive, like-minded children for best results. May seem impossible, but it's something to shoot for. #FutureLeaders #LeadershipForKids #ParentingLeaders #EmpowerKids #LeadershipDevelopment #ParentingJourney #RaisingLeaders #KidsWhoLead #KaramsLittleLeaders #BlackBeltBruce #LeadershipSkills #ParentingTips #ChildEmpowerment #LeadershipEducation #ParentingWin #YoungLeaders #LeadershipPotential #ParentingGoals #LeadershipJourney #EmpowerTheNextGen #ParentingCommunity

Achieving our dreams, big or small, rarely happens in a vacuum. We thrive when we have a supportive community around us— people who believe in our potential, celebrate our wins, and hold us accountable when we need that extra push. It's easy to fall into the "go it alone" mentality, convincing ourselves that asking for help or sharing our goals with others is a sign of weakness. The truth is quite the opposite. #SupportSystem #Community #Accountability

You’ve heard countless times from the managers about their fellows. Today, let’s hear from those who know them best—their parents. What do they think about the fellows' work? How much do they support them, and why? Let’s listen to their voices and learn how parents see the journey of these fellows and the impact it has. #FellowsJourney #ParentVoices #FamilySupport #EmpoweringFellows #CommunityOfChange

How many of us go over and over and over again previous situations? We think about what we could have/should have said. We think about what we could have/should have done. We think about how things could have gone differently. First, I'd like you to try to replace could have and should have with different words. For example, "I could have told them how I really felt," can become, "I didn't tell them how I really felt, but next time, I am going to be brave and say what I think." See the difference? It's empowering. It's strong. It puts you in charge. Next time you start going down that rabbit hole, focus on what's coming and how to be and do the things that make you feel strong and at peace. It makes a world of difference. Queens of Moxie is all about helping you reclaim your MOXIE. Are you ready? Reach out! Are you a worrier? Do you think of all of the "what if's"? I used to focus on scarcity. I used to think about all of the things that could go wrong. But, I've spent a lot of time and effort shifting my perspective to abundance. "What if the outcome is far better than I ever imagined?" "What if it goes exactly as planned?" "What if it's amazing?" Take that step. Give it your all. Find out what awaits you on the other side of fear. Queens of Moxie is all about helping you reclaim your Moxie with joy, purpose and community. Want to learn more? Here are 3 tips for partnering with all families: -Help children learn a positive sense of self when talking about families. Whether a mom and a dad, two moms, a grandmother, or a foster dad, the people who love and care for them at home are the child’s family. Let’s honor all of them as such!. -Accept and appreciate the families of the children in your care. Work together so that children and families feel equally welcome, challenged and inspired in the learning environment. Help everyone feel included! -Choose words of acceptance and affirmation. Our words stay with children (and families), affecting their sense of self and our connections with one another. "Diversity is being asked to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance." -Verna Myers, American activist ➡️In what ways do you ask all families to dance, so to speak? ➡️We offer trainings on partnering with parents, as well as on honoring diversity.
