Forbion is thrilled to support portfolio company SynOx Therapeutics as it advances in the fight against Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumour (TGCT), a rare and debilitating disease. The company announced the completion of an extension to its Series B financing, bringing the total raised to an impressive $92 million. This funding is advancing the TANGENT study, SynOx’s pivotal Phase 3 clinical trial for emactuzumab, a CSF-1 receptor (CSF-1R) inhibiting monoclonal antibody that has the potential to be best-in-class for TGCT treatment. The TANGENT study has officially dosed its first patients and will be conducted globally across multiple centers.
