Hydrogen Enthusiast Passionate about Renewable Energy

Rockville Maryland has an ambitious goal to use solar power to build a self-sufficient microgrid for its bus depot. The system will include battery back up and enough power to charge electric buses and run a 1MW electrolyzer for hydrogen production. The system will be interconnected to the utility, but is engineered to operate indefinitely in island mode. This seems like an overly optimistic project but I hope they are successful.  #ANDnotOR https://lnkd.in/eUdiBGNG
