Going through the comments, it's not important where the money has come from or is coming from. It's really not important. What's important is, that facility can serve people who can afford it or would like to afford it. The ones who can't have so many options. I can't afford this facility and I will go to some other place to get treated. I will self-medicate to save money if need be. What's the worse than can happen? Maybe I will die a little early. Why waste money trying to live a few days more? I would rather give that money to someone in need and I have done it in the past under similar conditions. Why go to a 5 star hospital if I can't afford it trying to get treated by the doc who will say hi to me and charge me 7k? Forget the rest of the conversation. So the point is why criticize this fabulous hospital? Tata Cancer Hospital has a charitable arm. Maybe this one will have it too. Even you can start something!! Why not pay for the treatment of at least 1 person who can't afford it? Don't behave like an insurance underwriter; just pay for the cost no matter what. Then criticize Amma or anyone. I don't know Amma. So don't think I am biased. Do some good.

Know your audience (and not just their problems). Here's a brilliant example. Muslims traditionally break fast during Ramadan by eating dates, so shops are full of beautifully packaged boxes of dates. Knowing your audience doesn't just mean finding a problem or "poking their pain", it also means knowing their positives, what values they hold dear and how your brand can resonate with them.
