We are truly pleased to announce the newest firm to be integrated into EMC Operations Group: VAL Defence. VAL are an experienced firm who've been operating on the front lines of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, providing key support through their highly effective fragmentation casings for UAS based munitions (both 'kamikaze' RPAs and UAS with a munitions reset system.) VAL also offers casings for handheld fragmentation grenades, thread adapters for electric detonators, and custom fragmentation casings. VAL produces incredibly high quality fragmentation casings, utilising composite metal ceramic which incorporate a fragmentation technology that allows differential striking elements and ample power to destroy both light and protected targets (with products's impact radii ranging from 300-900 metres squared (and costs ranging from <£20 - <£85.)) Beyond the high quality of VAL's product (impressive though it is,) we firmly believe that their industrial magnum opus has been in defence based process innovation. VAL's fragmentation casing production technology is unsurpassed. They employ a far simpler 3 stage process and subsequent simplified assembly. This has a number of advantages in cost, flexibility of product, minimal infrastructure/production systems/machining requirements, and superior military logistics. We'll have quite a bit more to say about them in the coming weeks and months as production expands, but needless to say that their innovative efforts have already proven themselves numerous times on the battlefield (footage that we'll be posting at some point soon.) They really do put forth a product that has proven to be highly effective on the battlefield, highly producible (at low cost) with superbly innovative simplicity, and is flexible when it comes to fragmentation casing application. Excellent product, and seemingly unsurpassed production tech. Being familiar with their product range, it's all supremely affordable and even just for UAS munitions and UAS with a munitions's deployment system (with reset,) they have A LOT of options. Improvements in product and process happen frequently, but for VAL, the leaps made have undeniably been born of the crucible that is war. 🇪🇸💥 Spanish firms Escribano Mechanical and Engineering, Indra, and TRC have signed an agreement to develop a new counter-drone system for the Spanish Armed Forces. Changes are major, but "XPLORER" will still remain the most price competitive Class 3 strike and ISTAR system on the market, even with the significant upgrades on components and systems key to performance that will make it incredibly competitive for capability (even more so.) In a military context, the benefit of XPLORER was superior price point that facilitated action when air supremacy hadn't yet been established (generally speaking, it's not advisable (either for SOF overwatch, ISTAR, EW, or kinetic strike) to utilise highly expensive systems, especially in an age where the enemy can quite easily shoot them down (as has been made significantly more public in the past year with 6 Reapers (about £144 million...) intercepted by the Houthis alone.)) Now, we can maintain that low cost (both of operation and of purchase) while making performance superb, not just sufficient, with upgrades in a vast number of measured categories, reduction in environmental requirements for operation (making "XPLORER" more rugged) and novel strike payloads. 🤩 The United States Air Force has selected General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and Anduril Industries to design, construct, and trial production-representative articles for the Collaborative Combat Aircraft program. CCA seeks approximately 1,000 drones to take the role of “loyal wingman” for crewed platforms, including fighter jets, bombers, and other aircraft. “The CCA program redefines the future of aviation and will shape the USAF acquisition model to deliver affordable combat mass to the warfighter at the speed of relevancy,” GA-ASI VP of Advanced Programs Michael Atwood said. Jason Levin, Senior Vice President of Anduril’s Air Dominance & Strike Division, added: “US and allied success in the future requires CCAs to be delivered at a speed, cost, and scale to beat the pacing threat.
