It takes one tenth of a second to make an impression on someone. *according to some very smart people And you could be the nicest person, but if your intention isn't on point, your first impression could be damaging. My last 3 trips to the UAE, I had one intention. And this intention became the focus of all my social interactions. And this is why I failed. Everyone I met and spoke to, I would think... 'How can this person help get me a job' *400 days of looking for a job will make you do desperate things! And doing this made me be on constant alert, worrying about what I said, how I looked and second guessing EVERYTHING I was doing! *cue constant internal panic I was exhausted! So now, with this current trip to Dubai, I'm doing things better. My intention is to find people just like me, who: - embrace their uniqueness (aka weirdness) - are powering through to improve their personal growth And having this genuine intention has been so calming and created raw, unfiltered and connected relationships. 🎉Bonus point 🎉 I can also be me, all day everyday, without abandon and worrying about what impression I'm making. *Authenticity for the absolute WIN ⚡Note to self: Without you realising it, your intention feeds your subconscious. It shapes how you act, how you think and how you feel. Choose wisely. The energy you spend on making a false impression, is better spent on being yourself and showing your true value. What's one of your intentions right now? A grateful shoutout to TishTash Communications for organising this job fair, I found it so helpful and valuable 🙌🏽 #NTS #notetoself #dubai #abudhabi #creativemarketing #middleeast #uae #MENA
