This innovative solution combines camera and radar fusion, eliminating the need for LiDAR while maintaining exceptional quality and functionality. CRASHTEST-Battle. 8,5 out of 9 possible points!! Who has the strongest Emergency Braking systems? Almost perfect performance by our NIO ET5 👇 But first, big applause to #BMW as well, the only German premium/volume brand that willingly participated in testing their system. And achieved a great score too (6/9). And how about NIO? 3 different scenarios, tested 3 times each: 8,5 out of 9 possible points. There was only one instance where the NIO did not fully brake for the dummy in a heavy rain scenario. On all other occasions (even in the rain scenario), it detected the dummy and braked perfectly.
