Hydrogen lovers 😍 here is a list of key European funding schemes available to support green and low-carbon hydrogen: ▶ 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞: Horizon Europe is the EU's key funding program for research and innovation, with a budget of around €95.5 billion for 2021-2027. It includes support for green hydrogen projects through various calls for proposals under its 'Climate, Energy and Mobility' cluster. ▶ 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Formerly known as the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU), this public-private partnership supports research, technological development, and demonstration activities in fuel cell and hydrogen energy technologies in Europe. ▶ 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝: The Innovation Fund is one of the world's largest funding programs for the demonstration of innovative low-carbon technologies. It aims to bring to market industrial solutions to decarbonize Europe and supports large-scale projects, including those related to green hydrogen. ▶ 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Competitive bidding rounds within the Innovation Fund dedicated to funding innovative green hydrogen production and utilization technologies. ▶ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐂𝐄𝐅): The CEF is a key EU funding instrument to promote growth, jobs, and competitiveness through targeted infrastructure investment at the European level. It includes support for the development of trans-European networks in the fields of transport, energy, and digital services, with potential funding for hydrogen infrastructure ▶ 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞: The LIFE Programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. It supports projects that contribute to the shift towards a sustainable, circular, energy-efficient, renewable energy-based, climate-neutral, and resilient economy, including green hydrogen initiatives. ▶ 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 (𝐈𝐏𝐂𝐄𝐈): The IPCEI framework allows Member States to jointly support large-scale projects that contribute to economic growth and competitiveness.
