Ok. Hear me out. AI is making our jobs a lot easier but in the creative industries, I still think there’s a long way to go. TikTok’s digital AI avatars may look real but there’s something so cold about her delivery. Inflection, a voice that screams “I’m bored,” the hand gestures… it’s extremely clear to me that this is AI. Brands prematurely jumping on this bandwagon could risk losing audience trust. Consumers still want authentic content. Nothing is going to ever beat real word of mouth and user generated content from real people. Taking the AI shortcut could be devastating to a brand should the public find out. This is not a shortcut I think any brand should take. #AI #tiktok #marketing #socialmedia #UGC

Think twice when you experiment with your fake GenAI UGC 🚨 FTC keeps pressing major players like TikTok & Meta to disclose this with a massive label. 🏷️ Don't label it? You might risk your ad account getting banned in the future. 🚫 And for those in consumable brands, using GenAI content is a big no-no. 🙅♂️ Think twice before taking that risk! Skip those online guru tips. 🤷♂️ Just always visibly disclose your use of AI when creating UGC. Or better yet, don't use it for UGC at all.
