Did you know that we do minor leather/fabric repairs? Here’s how we do it! Leather/fabric repairs are complicated and require attention to detail. When dealing with damaged leather/fabric surfaces, the first step is to protect the surrounding area to avoid further issues. We then remove any loose material, carefully preparing the damaged spot. If needed, we lightly sand the area to ensure it’s smooth. Once the surface is prepped, we start the process of applying leather filler or adhesive to rebuild the surface. This step sometimes requires multiple layers, with curing time in between each to ensure a solid and long-lasting repair. After the filler has been refined and sanded, we faux paint the area with leather/fabric-specific paint to match the original color. The final steps involve sealing the repair and applying the right sheen, ensuring the texture and finish blend perfectly with the rest of the leather/fabric.
