We recently launched Recright's first-ever video podcast called Reccast, where we dive into the topic of AI, especially from the perspective of recruitment and talent acquisition 🎙️ Our next episode features two amazing talent acquisition experts ✨ Tiina Hahtovirta and Rahul Pardasani 🦉 ✨ as our podcast guests together with our hosts Jussi Luhtasela and Miikka Tuomola. From crafting job descriptions and ads to screening candidates, AI tools are saving recruiters valuable time and helping them focus on the human aspect of their roles. Despite the efficiency AI brings, the human element in recruitment remains irreplaceable. Tiina and Rahul both emphasize the importance of human interaction in the hiring process. AI tools can handle administrative tasks, but the final hiring decisions still require a human touch 🧡 Recruiters face various challenges, from dealing with a high volume of applications to finding niche talent for specialized roles. AI can significantly aid in these areas, but it also presents new challenges 🤔 As we look to the future 🔮 the role of recruiters will evolve, but it's unlikely to become obsolete. AI will continue to automate and improve certain aspects of recruitment, but the need for human judgment, empathy, and understanding will persist. Interesting move from Mr Bartlett! My take: It's well known that AI is the biggest game-changer across multiple industries, worldwide. The uncertainty of what's next definitely keeps us on our toes. In recruitment, AI could no doubt streamline high-volume tasks, but I believe (and hope) the human touch will always be essential.
