Stop keeping quiet… If you have a skill or business and you’re not making noise about it. Take the mic and tell me, “How do you intend to make sales?”. You see, so many businesses complain of low sales. But the truth is, they’re not making enough noise. And no it is not the type of noise where you shout to disturb the whole neighborhood… Or the online noise of jumping on irrelevant trends that are unrelated to your business. That’s not what I mean… The type of noise I mean is marketing yourself shamelessly. Talking to people about what you do, reaching out to clients and putting out valuable content. Because the person who wins is usually not the expert or the best. He is just the best-known. Most of the copywriting clients I have worked with and students I have taught came from referrals. Not because I’m the best (I’m pretty good though…winks) but because I shared what I do with them. Now, Imagine if I had kept it quiet. So dear business owners, stop keeping quiet. Your content is working... So specifically from the beginning of this year, I can proudly say that 65% of my customers are people I have acquired into my sales funnel for quite sometime. And the funny thing is, it's only now they're reaching out to do business with me. The question I keep asking myself is, "what if I gave up along the line?" One thing that can't be overemphasized is timing, right now some clients might not be reaching out yet because they can't afford your services, for others, they're just in doubt, some others don't even know they need your services, and the objections go on and on. But as you keep being consistent, you're removing the objections in the minds of your potential customers one at a time and before you know it, you'll become the go-to person for that service or product.
