HERE'S a picture of my first full-time job location after graduating. No, it wasn't a Dan Murphy's outlet back then. It was the Balwyn branch of ANZ. Being selected for the ANZ graduate program meant a six-month initial placement in a branch. Times change, business models change, the way we work changes. But we all remember our first graduate role or first full-time role. ■ WHAT was your first job and what did you learn there to build your future? #firstjob #graduatejobs #learnandgrow

Alert: Professional and Personal together Met this energetic group of interns for our global delivery services org. Belonging Equity and Impact meant to them as an ecosystem of growth, association and acceptance, business imperative...Those smiles were after 90 min of session that they rated as 4.8 ! My personal journey started at 21 and on the move to Mumbai, the city of dreams! Reminiscing about the best advice I received from my master coach: 'Erase titles like sir and madam; address people by their names and get to know the real person behind them.' It was truly transformative guidance that has shaped my approach to connecting with others. Taking a stroll down the memory lane! What's the best advice you received in your early years that shaped your career today?

I got shortlist from JP Morgan, Philips, Godrej Capital and HSBC. HSBC was my 4th shortlist for my SIP and I converted the same after 4 rounds. What did not work in the previous companies? 1) Godrej Capital -Never solved a guesstimate in my life and it being the 1st shortlist, I couldn’t structure my answers very well. 2) JPMC -Got shortlisted for 2 profiles, was out in the Group Discussion for both the roles. -They usually give out PPO to every candidate who joins them for SIP, highly advisable to not tank the process. 3) Philips -Cleared the assessment round. -In the interview round, it was a gamified assessment involving coding and due to lack of familiarity and understanding was out of the process. #interviews #bschool #hiring #companies #sip

With God's grace, I'm thrilled to share that I've accepted an offer to join Lloyds Banking Group as a Business and Commercial Intern. This opportunity marks a milestone in my journey, where embracing challenges and learning from failures have been pivotal. Reflecting on this path, Denzel Washington's words resonate deeply with me: "If you're not failing, you're not trying." Despite facing setbacks at several final-stage assessment centres, these experiences have sharpened my resilience and perspective. Failure, indeed, can be a double-edged sword—it can either foster anxiety or fortify mental strength, depending on one's mindset. Stephen Covey's wisdom, "The way we see the problem, is the problem," has been a guiding light, reminding me that our perspective shapes our reality. As I step into this Intern role with LBG, I'm eager to embrace the challenges and growth opportunities that lie ahead. For those interested in the insights that have inspired me, check out Denzel Washington's speech and Stephen Covey's book "7 Habits of Highly Effective People": https://lnkd.in/dJFst4yu https://lnkd.in/dyt37CVr

I'm grateful to share the new mission in CIB summer training, which is the phase 2 and it's a competition about choosing a topic from phase 1 and playing roles in this phase. The topic about "sales strategies and techniques" In this video I will show you how to identify customer needs and aligning products and services to those needs by using these techniques: 1. Open-ended Questions: The employee asks questions to understand the customer’s needs. 2. Building Rapport: The employee maintains a friendly demeanor to make the customer comfortable. 3. Tailored Solutions: Presenting products that directly align with the customer's stated goals. 4. Transparency: Providing clear information about the product’s benefits and requirements. 5. Encouragement and Support: Offering assistance throughout the process to foster a collaborative atmosphere. This approach ensures the customer feels supported and informed without any pressure. #CIB_Summer_Internship_2024 #CIB_Egypt #CIB #Banking #Banking_Services #Sales_Strategies #Sales #Banking_Product
