As thought leaders, it's our duty to promote inclusion and diversity. Recent reports suggest Pope Francis may have used language counter to these principles. In a private session with bishops, it's reported that he repeated a view restricting gay men from becoming priests. Such language, if true, can inflict pain and divisions. It's a reminder that even in our progressive times, prejudice still looms large. Each of us bears the responsibility to challenge discriminatory views, regardless of where or who they come from.
