Is your PR strategy unimaginative and predictable? If your plan is solely to churn out press releases every time you have some ‘news’ to shout about, you won't be engaging with your audience the way you could be. Got a new service to announce? 👉 Rather than just another press release, why not put together a flashy video to show it off? Reshuffled your board of directors? 👉 Announce them with a podcast or a series of thought leaderships. In the world of business standing out with creativity and variety is key, relying solely on one communications tool limits your potential. There is a whole series of PR tactics that can build your profile and enhance your brand's image. Successful PR requires a multifaceted approach. 💻 #PR #PRstrategy #communications #corporatecomms

Are you falling for these PR myths?🚫 You might be shocked at how much goes on behind the scenes! Many think of PR as getting just a mention in a glossy magazine. PR isn’t just about issuing press releases; it’s about strategic storytelling and connecting with audiences way beyond your social media reach. Think PR is only for big brands or for the rich and famous? Think again! Small businesses can leverage powerful PR strategies to amplify their voices and connect with customers on a deeper level. And let’s not forget - effective PR builds trust and credibility over time, not just hype. _________________ I’m Amanda FitzGerald, AKA The Ultimate Door Opener🚪✨ Stop playing small! Public Relations is one of those areas for emerging brands that doesn't always feel like a need. But, the right touch of PR can help brands generate more impressions, more visibility, and (sometimes) a stamp of approval. PR is about generating stories PR involves connections PR is a long game This is some of what discussed in my conversation with Reena Goodwin of FACTEUR PR talking all things PR as it relates to early-stage brands. If this is of interest, listen in anywhere podcasts can be found.

What are the best metrics to use in PR?📊 That all depends on the type of campaign and what you are trying to achieve. So let’s say you want to raise headteachers’ awareness of your brand. You might think the number of items of positive coverage secured in the press and on the websites your target audience consumes would be a good goal to measure. You may want to track the number of speaker slots you secure for your spokespeople or customers on podcasts and at events aimed at senior leaders in schools too. But does this really get to the heart of what you are trying to achieve for your business? 💡Read our blog post to find out an effective approach: https://ow.ly/E7S750QJMHX #PR #Metrics #Marketing #EdTech #PublicRelations #KPIs

Happy Monday, LinkedIn! As we start our 9-week countdown to 2025, let’s kick things off with the foundation of every memorable brand: your story. You might have heard, “Your story is your brand.” In entertainment PR, it’s not just a saying; it’s the secret sauce that sets talent apart. So, what’s your “why?” It’s not enough to just exist online—audiences want to know what makes you, you. Start with key moments that shaped your journey, moments that people can relate to and remember. Are you someone who started from scratch, or did you pivot from a completely different industry? Show what makes you unique, but keep it real—authenticity is key. So, as we head into 2025, let’s focus on refining that narrative and owning the story only you can tell. #EntertainmentPR #PersonalBranding #StorytellingSuccess #CountdownTo2025 #LynkPR #lynkpublicrelations #pr #pragency #publicrelations

IF YOU COULD GIVE ONE ADVICE TO SOMEONE STARTING OUT IN PR, WHAT WOULD IT BE? I've thought about this for sometime now and these questions keep flooding my thoughts. Is it about mastering the art of storytelling or the importance of networking? Maybe it’s about how to handle a crisis, communicate effectively with the media? Staying ahead in this ever-evolving industry? After much thought I was able to narrow down what actually works for me which is “Always listen before you speak whether you’re talking to a client, journalist, or the public”. Essentially, this brings about understanding of your audience and their needs which is the foundation of any successful communication strategy. I came to this conclusion after recalling my personal experience when I first got into this field. Now, let’s hear from you! What’s the one piece of advice you wish someone had given you when you were just starting out? Drop your insights in the comments, and let’s inspire the next generation of PR professionals together. #PublicRelations #CareerAdvice #PRTips #Storytelling #PRProfessionals
