** WHAT A YEAR **   Trying to compress my 2024 into a concise LinkedIn post is quite the task. Put simply, it has been (by a country mile) the most enjoyable, successful and fulfilling year of my career to date. Starting a business is high stakes, requiring courage and conviction, but my decision to incorporate WRS (Westcott Recruitment Solutions) is categorically the best that I have ever made.   Nothing can prepare you for the relentless and addictive nature of business ownership and this year I have been able to live out the adage ‘if you love what you do then you never work another day in your life’.   The biggest challenge? SWITCHING OFF. There are few more incompetent at this than me, so I am all ears to other business owners that have cracked this code. It goes without saying that the year would not have been the overwhelming success it has were it not for the support, guidance and trust of so many. I can't express how grateful I am to everyone who has placed their faith in my abilities. I have left nothing out there in my unwavering commitment to deliver unrivalled candidate & client experience. At this moment last year I was consumed with anticipation & apprehension. Fast forward 12 months those feelings have been replaced with pride, satisfaction, gratitude and excitement.   Can 2025 be any better?! It has its work cut out but we will give it a damn good go! A happy and healthy Xmas & New Year to all. Thank you once again.
