Calling all Coders! Just wanted to share an amazing experience I had participating in one of my college coding event 'CID'. This event was a fantastic opportunity to: Push my coding skills: CID offered a challenging set of problems that required me to think outside the box and apply my knowledge in new ways. Network with fellow coders: Meeting and collaborating with other students from various backgrounds was incredibly rewarding. We shared tips, learned from each other's approaches, and built valuable connections. Gain valuable experience: Whether it was tackling technical hurdles or working under pressure, CID provided a real-world experience that will undoubtedly benefit me in future endeavors. If you're looking to hone your coding skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and gain practical experience, I highly recommend participating in similar coding events at your college! #CID #CodingEvent #CollegeLife

# Celebrating Computer Science Education Week 2024! At Coding with Culture , we’re passionate about fostering culturally relevant computer science education that inspires the next generation of innovators. This #CSEdWeek, we want to highlight the critical role of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in shaping the future of STEM, particularly for K-8 students. HBCUs produce 25% of African American graduates in STEM,playing a pivotal role in creating a diverse and inclusive tech ecosystem. These institutions empower young learners with tools to excel in computer science while celebrating their cultural identities. By integrating culturally relevant pedagogy HBCUs help students see themselves as future tech leaders, engineers, and innovators. The work doesn’t stop here. Let’s continue to champion programs and initiatives that break barriers in tech education for underrepresented communities. Together, we can inspire the next generation of coders, dreamers, and doers! What role do you think culturally relevant education plays in empowering youth in STEM? Share your thoughts below! #CSEdWeek2024 #CodingWithCulture #HBCUImpact #DiversityInTech #STEMEducation #K8Coding #EdTech #BlackTechExcellence #HBCUPride #InclusiveEducation #CulturallyRelevantTeaching #FutureInnovators #TechForAll #EmpoweringYouth #BlackExcellence #TechLeaders
