This year has shown the true colours of a few organisations... If you can only be a company that values, ⚪ Diversity & Inclusion ⚪ Work-Life Balance ⚪ Compassion ⚪ Flexibility When things are going well, then it doesn't count for much. Unfortunately, amid the rollercoaster that has been the economy this year, lots of organisations have defaulted to old ways of working.. e.g. 5 days a week in the office, no flexibility of office hours, and no interest in creating inclusive spaces at work. Lesson: 📚 Be a good employer 365 days a year; yes, you may have to make tough decisions and get things wrong BUT the way you treat people makes a difference and counts in the long term! #machinelearning #hiring #wellbeing #worklifebalance #remoteworking

Flexible working. The genie that escaped the bottle in the pandemic and ultimately changed the way we work, I believe, forever. 👏🏻 Flexa the platform that came along and really changed the narrative around flexible working. Last night I had the most fascinating, enriching and thought provoking evening with the team and TA/People Leaders from a variety of market leading businesses. I also finally got to meet Molly Johnson-Jones - what an incredible human. 🥰 For me I am passionate about this topic, as I believe it has the opportunity to move the dial in so many areas: - better wellness and worklife balance! If we are all working until 70 now, trust me we will need it!! - removing the barriers that have stopped women rising to the top and staying there! Flexibility is key to parenting for both women and men. - the ability to recruit talent from different places, particularly when it comes to harder to fill roles! - operating with autonomy and trust, whilst knowing life sometimes gets in the way! Yesterday was a perfect example where I had to meet our new property agent for an hour that morning, before heading into town for a meeting! I truly believe flexibility is a powerful tool for organisations to drive so many positive actions in their workforce when done right! I’m interested. Do you still have the level of flexibility you want? Share your thoughts in the comments! #flexibleworking #worklifebalance #FlexaCareers
