Who is on your personal board of directors? If you don't have one, you need one. Why? They're INCREDIBLE referral partners & the BEST feedback-givers too. I heard about the concept of your "personal board of directors" from Nancy Medoff 🎤 about a year or so ago...and not only loved it but embraced the concept of it too. Here's what I want you to do.... 1️⃣ Think about the people around you who you KNOW are talking well about you in rooms you're not in AND those people who will be honest with you (they won't just tell you what you WANT to hear...but tell you what you NEED to hear). 2️⃣ Consider your strengths, gaps...and your vision for your business. Where are you headed? Who can help get you there? What type of advice do you really need? 3️⃣ Think about the existing clients you service who you have a great relationship (meaning it extends past you doing the work...they really like you and you them). 4️⃣ Create your personal board of directors list (3-5 people...maybe more - depends on you) and meet with these people consistently (you determine - once a quarter...monthly...whatever is best for you). 👉 Let me know in the comments if you have a personal board of directors OR if you're considering it for 2025!
