New Milestone in Strengthening U.S. Defense In January, the Department of Defense (DoD) released the National Defense Industrial Strategy (NDIS), a roadmap for enhancing the defense industrial base—the network of private companies powering our military hardware and systems. This week, the DoD took it further: They unveiled the National Defense Industrial Strategy Implementation Plan (NDIS-IP). What does the NDIS-IP do? ➜ Outlines how to achieve the NDIS’s strategic goals. ➜ Provides a path to mitigate risks in the near, medium, and long term. ➜ Strengthens collaboration with private sector partners of all sizes, both domestically and abroad. Why it matters: The NDIS-IP is about securing a resilient, robust defense base to meet tomorrow’s challenges. #DefenseStrategy #NDIS #NDISIP #NationalSecurity #DefenseIndustrialBase #DoD #DefenseInnovation #MilitaryTech #RiskMitigation #PrivateSector #CzechoslovakGroup

Recently, the Defense Department released a National Defense Industrial Strategy along with a National Defense Industrial Strategy Implementation Plan, or NDIS-IP. This strategy will act as a roadmap for how we plan to build up and support our defense industrial base. "The plan provides the details for how the goals set forth in the NDIS-IP can be achieved and mitigate risks to the department in the near, medium and long term," writes the Department of Defense. It's critical that we have a detailed and focused plan to work that accelerates progress and promotes a sort of economic deterrence for the U.S. and our allies. I suggest checking out this full article to learn more about the 6 specific initiatives included in the NDIS-IP. #DeterrenceNews #DefenseNews #NationalDefenseIndustrialStrategy #thinkdeterrence
