How it started vs how it's going: over 50 years of the Barclaycard ⬇
And here in the US it was BankAmeracard 1958 when Dee Hock worked at Bank of America and Dee knew there must be an Association with a single brand for all banks and he invented Visa, he left Bank of America in San Francisco: he started Visa in San Mateo where hundreds of us were hired and we worked at. Visa is an acronym for: Visa International Service Association I was a personal friend of Dee and I would see him at his California coastal ranch in Pescadaro when I would be out at my friends Pescadaro ranch that shared a gravel road with Dee off of the coastal highway. I would also see Dee at work (-:
Incredible transformation over the years!
I think it is long past time that companies were sent the bill for time wasted sat in your endless robot IVR or simply on hold. Maybe having a bill for £50 for the 30 minute wait from a million customers - every day - would make you realise customer service is there to serve your customers, not waste their time for you to cheap out.
Barclays keeping people locked into a debt cycle, for corporate profits and the benefit of share holders....
A great product and service. All the more perturbing, annoying, and quite incomprehensible, that after over 40 years as a customer, Barclaycard sees fit to shut down the amounts of many loyal customers who happen to be living outside the UK. Please reconsider.
I have never seen dirty and rubbish customer service like at Barclays. Do you look for dirty banks? Go to dirty Barclays.
Super great development of barclaycard. I have been using them for over 25 years and am more than convinced by the product !! I'm already being surprised by future design.
One of the oldest and very best bank in the world. Very great in customer services. I'm really feel proud that I worked for 4 years here in PPI Barclay Card and Barclay Loan Process.. Keep Rocking Barclays..
I am interested to work in your business
