⚓️ Attended a roundtable on MIA's Public Consultation Paper regarding the registration of Body Corporates as Public Practice Entities, organized by #ACCA in support of ACCA’s response to MIA. Addressing the issue of bogus accountants has been a long-standing challenge, and I’m pleased to see us taking a progressive approach. My 2 cents : 1. Definition of Public Practice should be refined. 2. Segmentation of Public Practice to take into account Practicing Ceriticate issued by recognized professional body. Your efforts have paid off! 💯 To those who couldn’t crack it this time: Always remember these three things: 1. Don’t compare Chapter 1 of your book to someone else’s Chapter 10. 2. Treat life as a marathon as marathon rather than a sprint. Keep consistency throughout. 3. You have 3 months to face it again and knock it out of the park. With just days to go until ACCA exam week, I know that tensions can be running high. How are you feeling? No matter where you are, whether you’re pleased with the amount of work you have done or you wish you had done more, you are where you are! It’s ok. Mind over matter alone of course can’t get you a pass, but the thoughts you engage with in these final days can make a real difference between a border-line pass and a border-line fail. So when an unhelpful thought arises, recognise it and then let it go. Thoughts are just thoughts – they only hold power if you ‘buy into them’.
