Hello, LinkedIn network! Today, I want to share a bit about my journey in finding my dream, especially my aspiration to become a software engineer at Google or Microsoft. It wasn't a straight path, and it wasn't always easy. But it was worth every step. When I was younger, I had a dream—to contribute to cutting-edge technology as a software engineer for a leading company like Google or Microsoft. It seemed far-fetched, almost impossible. But I held onto it, nurtured it, and let it grow. I made choices that may not have seemed logical to others, but they aligned with my dream. I faced obstacles, failures, and rejections. But with each setback, I learned something new. I learned resilience, adaptability, and the power of never giving up. Currently, I am still working towards achieving my dream of being a software engineer at Google or Microsoft. It's not perfect, and there are still challenges ahead. But every day, I wake up excited to work towards this goal, knowing that it's a journey worth taking. So, my advice to you is this: Don't be afraid to chase your dreams, even if they seem daunting. Embrace the journey, learn from the setbacks, and keep moving forward. Because, at the end of the day, finding your dream is about discovering who you truly are and what you are capable of. #DreamChasing #JourneyToDreams #NeverGiveUp #SoftwareEngineer #Google #Microsoft

🎉 Happy anniversary to Microsoft! 🎂 Can you believe it's been 49 years since Bill Gates and Paul Allen embarked on this epic journey in a humble garage? 🚀 Back in '75, these two visionary pioneers set out to revolutionize the world of computing. Armed with dreams and serious coding skills, they laid the foundation for Microsoft in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fun fact: It all began with BASIC programming for the MITS Altair 8800. Talk about humble beginnings! Fast-forward to today, and Microsoft stands as the OG powerhouse of tech. From Windows to Xbox, they've seamlessly woven themselves into the fabric of our digital lives. 🌐 And let's not forget about #Teams – the lifeline that kept businesses connected during the great shift to remote work. 👥 But here's the real magic: #Microsoft isn't resting on its laurels. Nope, they're constantly pushing the envelope with new tools and features, supercharging our productivity, saving time, and keeping us organized. 🚀 So here's to Microsoft – the trailblazers of tech! 🎊👏 #MicrosoftAnniversary #TechPioneers #TechHistory #HappyAnniversary https://lnkd.in/eW3M9mi

#CareerUpdate Today was an extraordinary day for me, as it was my last working day at Microsoft as a Software Engineer. If I am being honest, joining Microsoft was personally a very painful process for me, as due to some unforeseen event I had to shut down my first company Mathrithms Technologies Pvt Ltd, help all my team members find another job and most painful part help our clients to transition smoothly to other service providers. In my initial days at Microsoft, I was in guilt and pain for all this, then slowly I started meeting people, I must say that some of the brightest people I have met till now. Later I really started enjoying this and started treating Microsoft as a learning journey, which it definitely was. Each day in the last 2-2.5 years was filled with learning and the joy of working with great people. I firmly believe that all this has made me a much better person and as a result much better founder than earlier. Was shutting down your well-going business and joining Microsoft the right call? I don't know. Why? I cannot go in past to do things differently and compare the outcome but one thing I can definitely say is, I don't regret it. No one knows what the future holds, like I didn't know at the time of joining Microsoft, and now I don't know about leaving, no one knows. But somewhere we need to take a leap of faith. Somewhere we have to be all in with all efforts and dedication and wait for the result. What's next? Obviously starting up again. Updates about it going live soon..... Thanks to everyone for being with me during this journey. Best Nivedit

Switching from a startup to Microsoft was quite a challenge for me! I’ve received lots of DMs asking how I managed it, so I'm sharing my strategy today 🚀 1. Build Strong Foundations: I created separate lists of the top 10 questions for each DSA topic, like arrays, strings, and linked lists, and practiced them gradually. 🗺️ 2. Understand Problems: I made sure to fully understand a problem before trying to solve it. 🤔 3. Revise Regularly: Consistent revisions on weekends helped me retain what I’ve learned. 📚 4. Mock Interviews: They boosted my confidence and helped me realize my weak points. 💼 Creating this kind of roadmap wasn’t easy for me, so I got a little help from an SDE friend. Even you can get help and assistance from top engineers to create your prep plan from SDEs at Preplaced. Their personalized roadmaps will help strengthen your foundation, overcome your weaknesses, prepare for interviews, and crack them with ease📈 Try a FREE session with a top mentor - https://lnkd.in/gh9VKwa3 I hope my strategy and suggestions help you ✨

After 11 incredible years at Microsoft, the time has come for me to embark on a new journey. It's been an absolute privilege to work alongside so many talented, driven, and inspiring individuals—both at Microsoft and among our valued customers. I’ve learned and grown immensely, not only through my work but through the countless friendships and mentoring relationships I’ve had the honor to develop. There’s a phrase in Chinese: “天下没有不散的筵席,” which translates to, “There are no never-ending banquets in the world.” (I have been waiting to use the phrase for so long 😊) While this chapter has been exciting, rewarding, and filled with experiences I will one day share with my children and grandchildren, it’s time to say goodbye to Microsoft and the wonderful opportunities that I’ve had here. As for what’s next? The future is wide open, and I’m still figuring it out. Those who know me well know that I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit (even if I jokingly call myself a “poor entrepreneur”). For now, I plan to take some time off, enjoy some peaceful moments at my summer house, and maybe dive back into building iOS apps and games purely for fun. Who knows—I might even dabble in YouTube or explore some of my other hobbies in more depth. Or perhaps, a new opportunity will come along that piques my interest. I have used my handle SillyBun for many things that I do. So, look out! 😊 To my colleagues, friends, and connections—thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Please keep in touch, and remember to treasure every moment, because life truly is short. #EndOfAnEra #NewBeginnings #ThankYou #Microsoft #Gratitude
