Things I wished I knew before I started Doctrin and PeakPath. First order benefit, the two two sentence descriptions, and customer level problem 1) The two, two-sentence descriptions: Make your value prop look smaller for customers and bigger for investors. Investors and customers have vastly different needs and criteria. Customers are looking for a solution to a very specific problem that fits exactly who they are -> Hence niching is powerful. We help [targeted ICP] with [specific problem] using [features/capabilities] so that they achieve [specific benefit] Investors want to billion dollar markets. For investors, you need to show how big this idea could be. Conclusion: if you use the same two sentence description, you are missing out, either on getting inevstment or customers 2) First order benefits I got an email from Calendly with the title "here is how Calendly drives your profitability". Please Calendly, give an example of something that I currently buy that does not increase my profitability. On your website or in messaging, second order or third order benefits are not believable. It is better to focus on the first order: Calendly -> Easier for sales people schedule meeting asynchronously (1st order) ->more meetings (2nd order) ->more customers (3rd order) ->higher profitability (4th order) 2nd and 3rd order benefit, you can talk about in sales meetings. Bc, there you have 30 min to make it believable 3) Customer level problem So what problem are you telling your customers that you are solving? You can either tell them you are solving on the root causes to their problems or that you solve the problem that they say they have. Which is better do you think? The problem that they say they have. It is amazing that you know the root causes to the customer's problem. Use that to create a great solution. But if a customer use a specific wording for their problem, use that wording Just a few of my insights. I hope these might be valuable to you

One of the hardest problems that Sales folks face today is knowing who the right person to talk to is. I've been called / emailed / texted many times about solutions that I knew could be useful to my company, but I'm not the right person, and I might not even *know* the right person. LLMs can't solve this problem -- sure, they help once this problem is solved, but they need context. Current intent software doesn't solve it either -- just knowing that someone from Amazon came to your website isn't really useful (there's 1.5 Million people who work there!) I'm really excited to join Vector. Vector is working on person-level intent, and this *can* solve this problem, and both enable Sales folks to get the right person the first time and give AI systems the context they need.

As a normal person, overthinking, postponing tasks, and finally having an overwhelming lot to deal with? If yes, then there is an idea that can guide you in solving your problem. "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬": Dependent events: When one event relies on the previous one, it forms a chain. These are the factors we can perceive. Statistical fluctuations are the external disturbances in one or many dependent events—factors we can't predict or control. In such scenarios, the following hypothesis holds true to date: '𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬/𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞; 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭.' While this may initially seem counterintuitive, let's consider a typical firm with a 5 step value chain of production, assembly, packaging, sales, and delivery. Despite the standard time for each event, fluctuations (delays/hastening) can occur. According to the hypothesis, all delays in the chain continue to accumulate, and completing a task ahead of schedule does not reduce the overall processing time or diminish the delay completely. The reason is clear: In any phenomenon or process, the following step must compensate for the delay of the previous step but is 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 by its inability to operate faster than its capacity. Therefore, the solution lies in minimizing the delays and fluctuations across the chain of events. This can be achieved by 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞'𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 (for example, increasing the number of team members on a project or sharing the workload). A detailed illustration is attached.
