What do you change in your business if you want to go from product-led growth in B2C to B2B?
Not many cross that difficult boundary, but you can think about it this way:
B2C: "There's no risk involved with going with us. (Trial, Freemium, monthly subscription)
B2B: "I can make you look good in your company (the buyer)"
I cannot overstate how important it is to overcome that initial friction before you can talk about anything else - and how helpless a lot of PLG experiences are when it comes to that.
This automatically creates new demands for your business, while every salesperson who reads this goes, "Yeah, obviously."
We often need to communicate our offering to an individual, that this is helping them in their career (buyer) while providing a tool that activates their users (the users).
In other words, the first ROI is emotional (your career), while the second ROI is proof of value (the value for the users).
