Lifelong learning is not just about the hours spent in training rooms or the certificates that adorn our walls. It's about the wisdom we gain through experience, our mentors' insights, and the challenges that refine us. For some time, I found out that the 70-20-10 model for learning can significantly improve our professional development. The model suggests that we absorb: ➡️ 70% of our knowledge from on-the-job experiences, including overcoming challenges and learning from our mistakes. ➡️ Another 20% comes from interactions with others, such as coaching, mentoring, and peer collaboration. ➡️ The remaining 10% comes from formal education and training. This model emphasizes the value of diverse learning experiences.
