Leadership training exclusively for women is important because, in usual leadership training, men outnumber women in large numbers since mostly men occupy leadership positions. This is due to the current organizational structures that are reflective of a hopefully soon-to-be-outdated patriarchal mindset.
Part of the effort to transcend the patriarchal mindset that women, men, and other genders are carrying the burden of, is to ensure leaders of all genders in organizations. Such exclusive leadership training is key in a social and organizational system that is largely geared to automatically make it easy for men to be leaders. They bring much-needed attention, and awareness and drive action that needs to thoughtfully and deliberately be taken to change a regressive pattern that has continued for generations.
