Recognizing the limitations of traditional fixed schemes for supporting patients' chronic conditions, Axios developed an innovative Tiered Cost-Sharing model to improve patient access and optimize the program sustainability and feasibility.  What’s unique about this model is that patients understand the program's value and are able and willing to contribute based on their financial assessments. This enables them to follow through on their full treatment plans, which increases their financial sustainability without adding further burden to their situation.  We make this a reality by using our novel and validated Patient Financial Eligibility Tool (PFET) to determine the help each patient needs and customize the Tiered-Cost Sharing model to suit them. It brings together patients and multi-payers - such as pharmaceutical companies, charities, governments, and insurers - to close the affordability gap, ensuring the financial sustainability of all partners and the program itself.
