Have you shared your big vision with your team? Yesterday my team and I spent 4 hours together reviewing my vision and brainstorming new initiatives. One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that you can't achieve your goals alone. No matter how much drive and passion you have as a leader, if your team doesn’t understand the big picture, it’s like you’re rowing a boat in different directions. Sharing your vision with your employees isn’t just about motivation—it’s about alignment. When everyone knows where the company is headed, it becomes easier for them to make decisions, take initiative, and bring their best selves to the table. Even after 4 hours in a conference room, my team and I left the office yesterday charged up and excited to get to work. Your vision should be a guiding light for every project, every conversation, and every new hire. Are you consistently sharing your vision with your team? If not, it's never too late to start.

Your team doesn't need you to be the hero. They need to see their own potential. Your role as a manager is to:  → bring out the best in the people you lead → enable them to see their untapped potential → help them become who their are still to become While it's important that you lead by example: Leading others is more about them than you. Here are 10 ways to reveal their superpowers: 1/ Listen actively  ↳ Show you value their input 2/ Ask open-ended questions  ↳ Encourage deep thinking 3/ Delegate meaningful work/decisions ↳ Empower them to make important choices 4/ Set challenging tasks  ↳ Nudge them out of their comfort zone 5/ Celebrate team progress  ↳ Acknowledge every win, big or small 6/ Highlight their contributions ↳ Recognise their individual impact 7/ Acknowledge past successes  ↳ Remind them of their achievements 8/ Give specific feedback ↳ Outline the situation-behaviour-impact 9/ Support them through failures ↳ Remind them you believe in them 10/ Encourage ongoing development ↳ Identify together learning opportunities Inspiring others isn't about being the star.  It's about helping them shine. Three months into my journey at Walla, and what a ride it’s been. Transitioning into a new role in a different industry is a challenge—and an opportunity. It’s a chance to learn new skills, sharpen and refine others, and bring your unique strengths to the table. Through it all, I’ve learned to trust the process. Our team embarked on a series of balloon activities that not only brought us closer together but also taught us valuable lessons about communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. One of the most memorable moments was watching as everyone brought their unique skills and perspectives to the table, contributing to the success of each activity. We're identifying the best cities worldwide to maximize budgets without compromising quality, from crew rates to equipment costs. 3. Embracing New Approaches. We're constantly exploring fresh ideas to enhance our project execution, blending cutting-edge creativity and technology with efficiency. 4. Anticipating Client Needs. By diving deep into feedback, we're solving problems before they arise, ensuring smooth sailing from pitch to post-production. Looking back, it's amazing to see how far we've come.
