Belgium Considers Banning Boeing 777s For Being Too Noisy Favoring A300s The Belgian federal government has revealed its intention to effectively ban the Boeing 777 at night at the country’s biggest airport, Brussels Zaventem. This particularly affects the airport’s largest cargo airline, DHL, which uses a variety of cargo aircraft for its operation. The Belgian Federal government instead prefers other aircraft that, in actual fact, include the much older Airbus A300, an aircraft that is generally considered louder and less efficient from an environmental standpoint. The same guys that were cheering for Boeing products back in 1944-45 are now trying to ban them??? You should never forget who put food in your mouth when you were starving…. Strange world 🤔🤔🤔

I think the A300 will also be too loud. They should use Concorde instead.

DHL BRU lost the influence of the central hub, when DHL went to LEJ, because of political decisions on night curfew. When they saw DHL going to LEJ, they stop but it was to late and DHL BRU lost 2/3. At this moment BRU is already bigger than it was after loosing for LEJ, but now political stupid decisions comes again!!!! Who will suffer the consequences once again? Yeah, always the same ones...

B777 being noisy? That is a true first to me. Have they conducted any official environmental acoustic test to determine this? Just an honest curious question.
