This was my F360 Spider, fitted with challenge grills, split rims wheels, sport seats, leather side steps with full leather back, stainless steel door plates and F1 paddle shift. It was probably one of my prettiest Ferrari's and the most impractical for distance. Some of it's many problems were, the brakes boiled and faded dramatically, this was sorted by the addition of ceramic discs on the following F430. The exhaust was so high pitched it rendered you deaf if you travelled over 30 miles, again fixed on the F430 and the sport seats were just plain nasty, so when I ordered my F430 I went with the standard electric seats. The suspension was hard and you felt every undulation in the road, again all fixed on the F430. All of these things added up to knowing exactly what to specify when I did eventually order my F430. Did this one give me a big Cheshire Cat beaming grim, you bet it did just like every Ferrari or Maserati I've ever owned. There is no faking it, whilst I get the engineering and in some ways the low end torque performance of all the German stuff, there's just no heart to them, they do exactly what they say on the tin and everyone else seems to drive a slightly different version of your supercar. You don't get that with the Italian stuff! Yes, the electrics are rubbish, some times the build quality too, some bits may drop off at quite disconcerting times and you need to positively ring its neck to make it perform knowing exactly when and how the tyres grip runs out. But, you won't ever find the car park full of stuff that looks similar, they have the heart and passion of racing the size of the universe and you really do need to know how to drive to get the maximum out of them. I know where my heart will always lie and it's with a prancing horse or a trident, haven't driven a Lambo, but nothing makes me think it won't be the same. In a continuation of bringing the best of the best, la creme de la creme, RM Sotheby's and Sotheby's Motorsport bring you #Dubai2024. LOT 138 Dubai 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RSR $2,800,000 - $3,400,000 USD | Dubai, United Arab Emirates Chassis No. YT9ML1A21FA007123 To be offered on Friday, 8 March 2024 One-of-three Agera RSR made exclusively for the Japanese market An even rarer take on the Agera RS—at one point the world’s fastest production car—of which only 27 were made Gains key aerodynamic features including revised roof-mounted air scoop and spoiler Powered by a 5.0-litre V-8 for a staggering return of 1,160 horsepower; paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission Presents in stunning black with red accents and carbon fibre trim Odometer reads only 993 kilometres The Koenigsegg Agera was an instant sensation after beginning production in 2010. In that same year, Top Gear magazine lauded the Agera as its Hypercar of the Year, fending off competition from well-established rival marques that long pre-date the Swedish company’s standing start in 1994. Even more remarkable, perhaps, is how engineers at the manufacturer’s Ängelholm headquarters have consistently improved the Agera throughout its carefully implemented revisions and model updates. Fine-tuning the hypercar to unveil the Agera R in 2011, followed by the Agera S in 2013, and the One:1 in 2014, Koenigsegg revealed the Agera RS in 2015. The revised edition brought together the best features of the earlier models and the RS was billed by the manufacturer as “the ultimate track tool”, thanks to its lightweight construction and sleek design optimised for the racetrack. While the standard Agera RS had a 5.0-litre V-8 on tap for a mind-boggling return of 1,160 horsepower, Koenigsegg engineers pushed the envelope even further when in 2017, a factory-tuned Agera RS—bearing the “1-Megawatt package” option—became the world’s fastest production car, reaching a blistering average speed of 447 km/h over two runs of a closed Nevada highway. The Agera RSR was announced in 2016 as an ultra-exclusive take on the RS. Only three RSRs were made, forming part of the 27-strong production run of the earlier hypercar upon which it is based. The RSR shares the same twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre engine and power return but benefits from aerodynamic fine-tuning by means of a rear spoiler mounted higher up for greater downforce—as deployed on the earlier One:1—twinned with the repositioned roof-mounted air scoop that allows for the temporary removal of the “Targa”-style top. #classic #classics #classiccars #collectorcars #carcollectors #historic #vintage #performance #racing #rallying #driving #car #cars #automotiveindustry #auto #autos #autoindustry #auction #forsale #sold #automotive #investment #privatesale

recently I just got admire with the The Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 is a popular naked street bike that has received several updates in its 2024 model. Here are some key highlights: ### Performance and Handling The MT-15 V2.0 is equipped with a 155cc, single-cylinder engine producing 18.14 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.1 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The bike's performance is enhanced by a 6-speed gearbox and features like Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), which help in maintaining a balance between low-end torque and high-end power【6†source】【7†source】. One of the significant updates is the introduction of upside-down (USD) forks and an aluminum swingarm, replacing the older telescopic forks and box-type swingarm. This upgrade improves the bike's agility and handling, offering a more confident ride, especially in corners【5†source】【7†source】. Stylistically, the MT-15 V2.0 retains its aggressive, streetfighter look but now includes golden USD forks that add a premium touch. The bike features an LED projector headlamp, LED DRLs, and a new digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing call and text alert While the MT-15 V2.0's stiff suspension setup enhances its sporty performance, it may not be the most comfortable for longer rides or rough roads. The bike's ergonomics are designed to provide a sporty feel, which might not be ideal for taller riders or those frequently riding with a pillion【7†source】. The MT-15 V2.0 boasts an impressive fuel efficiency of around 53 km/l, thanks to its efficient engine tuning. With a 10-liter fuel tank, it offers a good range, making it economical for daily use【5†source】. Priced between ₹1.68 lakh to ₹1.74 lakh (ex-showroom), the MT-15 V2.0 is competitively positioned against rivals like the KTM Duke 125 and offers a compelling mix of performance, style, and features Overall, the Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 is a significant improvement over its predecessor, making it a strong contender in the naked street bike segment. #snsinstitution #snsdesignthinkers #snsdesignthinking
