I need to take a sec to talk about the project our team worked on with Onni and CapEV, because I think it does a great job illustrating the impact that multifamily EV charging can have. At Onni East Village in LA, CapEV and Onni installed 30 chargers for use by residents. All are powered by SWTCH. And the residents love them. Some people at the building have said that the chargers are one of the main reasons why they choose to live there. The charging experience is just so much more convenient than having to rely on public chargers out in the world. Just think of that for a second. People are choosing where to live based in part on whether they can plug their cars in overnight. Sure, it costs money to install EV chargers. But there are also incredible funding programs to drive down that cost, and EV chargers are one of the only amenities around that can actually pay for themselves over time, thanks to fees charged to the folks who use them. So for properties that want to be more competitive, installing EV chargers is simply one of the smartest, most cost-effective ways to get ahead of the competition.
