If you have football fan, you will see how passionate the supporters of a football club are, Not just when they're doing well or when they're winning the league, but just feeling a part of something special. And how can we bring that passion into our companies? Typically when someone is joining the company, he goes through an induction process, which is essentially introducing him to the CEO. The head of HR, give me notebook, show him his office and introduce him to his immediate boss and you tell him to get on with it. Contrast that with when people are joining a startup, you tell them the story about that startup. What is it there to do? Beyond just paying salaries, how passionate are people that are joining the startup? Obviously you have to be extremely passionate because you could have joined the. A structured company and probably get more and that's what we need to bring back. We need to tell people about the myth of the company, the legends of the company, teach them the company anthem. Let them feel that they are working on something that is going to pass the test of time. That is the only way that we can replicate the passion of the football supporters in the staff of the company.
