If there's one constant in operational accounting and finance, it's the disgust of documenting your working paper procedures. 🤮 It's a necessary evil that most orgs don't do well. And... The repercussions can be nasty: From missing key steps in preparation of a time-sensitive doc for close, to making new hire ramp-up and training super difficult, and probably the most expensive use-case: onboarding a contractor only to waste time training them on rudimentary steps in the process (more to come on this also). In my next newsletter, we're going to talk about the tools that can help streamline these procedures with a few clicks, creating ways to "guide" a user on various steps in a process.
