It was great to share my insights on Microsoft’s 21st Century Learning Design with other staff from the The Mercian Trust last night. This program is all about empowering educators to create learning experiences that foster the essential skills for the future, such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity. We explored how digital tools can enhance and support the delivery of the curriculum, as well as develop students' skills in using ICT for learning and preparing them for future careers. On 15 October the Department for Education will host a market engagement session via Microsoft Teams to explore market interest and capacity to deliver workforce support to the 16-19 year old English and maths (up to Level 2) workforce in FE settings, regionally and nationally. 📢 

The session details are below: 
🔎 Event: 16-19 English and Maths Market Engagement
📅 Date and time: 14:00-15:30, 15th October
Aim: We are looking to understand the market interest and capability in delivering 16-19 level 2 English and/or maths CPD to the workforce, including via innovative provision to achieve the best outcomes for learners. We are also interested in engaging with the market about their interest and capacity to deliver workforce support to the wider organisation, including heads of English/maths and colleges, to support learners. We are keen to explore appropriate approaches, including ways to ensure national coverage, or coverage in regions with higher student numbers.   Please note this event is not a call for competition and does not commit us to procuring or procuring services in specific ways, and any future opportunities are subject to funding availability.
