Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Wipro Global Executive Leadership Program (GELP). The 5-day program was filled with learning, meeting, and getting to know 15 other fantastic leaders of Wipro, and, of course, unlimited fun. Here are my key takeaways from these amazing days: ### Key Takeaways - Pausing, Reflecting, and Learning : These have become more essential than ever before. - Active Listening and Awareness : Sensing and looking beyond what meets the eye requires active listening and being aware of the environment/ecosystem. - True Leadership : It’s not about knowing it all but about learning it all. To continuously learn, one needs to be humble and passionate. - Vulnerability as Strength : Showing your vulnerability is not a weakness but a key to building trust and demonstrating authenticity. - Going with the Flow : Sometimes, going with the flow is more productive than having a fixed outcome in mind. ### What I Gained from the Program - New Friendships : 15 new friends and well-wishers in the organization. - Personal Feedback : Insights on how I could be a better person. - Learning and Insights : Huge learnings from the peer group, leadership insights, and case studies. - Personal Goal : A new personal goal of restarting my habit of reading one article or case study every week. Thank you to my fellow cohort mates for making these 5 days not only meaningful from a learning standpoint but also full of fun and interesting conversations.
