🤔🤔 Daily Musings 🤭🤭 Yet it shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. —Mark 10:43 If you desire to be used of God you should never get to the place where you are too big to do the small things or too small to do the big things. You must not entertain inferiority complex, neither should you be arrogant. We cannot get to the place that we are too big to do the small things if we want God to exalt us. But the Bible is very clear that those who want to be leaders must first be willing to be servants. Determine to keep a humble heart and think soberly about yourself; in time, God will exalt you. ⦁ Examine your heart. Do you tend to think more highly of yourself than you ought, or do you sell yourself short? ⦁ Seeing yourself as God sees you nothing more or nothing less is a great step toward maturity, and it will go a long way in making you a valuable servant. 🇫🇯Praise the Lord!🇫🇯 ✝️Proverbs 29:23 says: “A man’s pride will bring him low, but a humble spirit will obtain honor.” (NASB) #AspireToEmpower The verse highlights two contrasting attitudes: pride and humility. 1. Pride: The first part of the verse warns that pride leads to downfall. When someone is arrogant or overly self-confident, it often results in their humiliation. Pride blinds people to their limitations and can make them neglect advice, ultimately leading to failure or disgrace. 2. Humility: On the other hand, humility brings honor. A humble spirit—one that is modest, teachable, and self-aware—leads to a life of respect, favor, and promotion. Humility is viewed positively by others and by God, and it tends to lead to greater wisdom and success in the long run. ✝️In essence, this proverb teaches that pride causes self-destruction, while humility attracts recognition and respect. It echoes a common biblical theme that those who exalt themselves will be humbled, while those who humble themselves will be exalted (Matthew 23:12, James 4:10). 🌴Blessed Monday!🌴
