Q4 is well underway and I’ve been tempted to start planning 2025 already.  While planning is important and something I will do, I’m feeling a need to pause here for a second. These next few weeks are the calm before the holiday storm. It’s still nice outside in Ohio, the leaves are changing, and the sun is shining. It’s quite beautiful! I’m trying to pause for a moment for some mindfulness and gratitude and to be more intentional this holiday season. How can I prepare ahead of time so I don’t overwhelm myself? ✅ What gatherings are we up for and which ones are a “no”? 🛑 What work can I do now so that when the actual holiday arrives, I can be present and enjoy the special moments instead of running around like a madwoman? (🤦♀️🤦♀️anyone else ever do this?) Instead of jumping ahead to plan next year, I am going to shift focus to make the end of 2024 the best it can be. What are your plans for a successful year-end?

We Listen, We Don’t Judge 🎄✨ With the year coming to an end and the holiday buzz in full swing, here’s a real question; how are you really doing? Are you thriving, surviving, or just winging it? I recently took a short break to recharge and refocus, and let me tell you… I missed this space !!!! Now that I’m back, I can practically smell Christmas in the air. By the way, is your office closing for the year? Because mine isn’t, and I’m starting to feel like I’m on Santa’s elf duty with no break in sight (God Abeg)😂🎅 Soon enough, we’ll see people sharing their incredible accomplishments, and that’s great! But guess what? If you’re like me, in a country that’s been pressing our necks for sports; surviving the year is a BIG WIN. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If all you did this year was survive, got through each day, tackled challenges and still showed up, that’s more than enough. It’s an accomplishment too. No pressure; celebrating the little wins counts just as much. Let’s make this a safe space to share, reflect, and connect. Ah, December. The month where we simultaneously try to finish the year strong, enjoy the festive season, and not collapse from sheer exhaustion. It’s like running a marathon, except at the finish line, someone hands you a to-do list instead of a medal. 🎄 Between wrapping up work projects, holiday planning, and trying to remember what my New Year’s resolutions even were, this month feels like the “final boss” of 2024.
