Here’s the deal... Yes, but don’t go overboard. 💡 If the keyword is already in your post, don’t hashtag it. For example, if you’re writing about social media tips, skip the #SocialMediaTips. 👉 Repeating keywords with hashtags can feel redundant and clutter your message, so focus on adding value instead. Mix it up! Use a blend of niche (#brandstorytelling) and general (#SocialMediaManagement) hashtags for maximum reach. This combo helps you connect with both a targeted audience and a wider network, maximizing your reach. Please don't forget to keep it tidy- place your hashtags at the end of your post, not sprinkled everywhere (like we did today exceptionally!). Placing hashtags at the end keeps your content polished and makes your message the star of the show. TIP OF THE WEEK: if you need help finding the bester hashtags, check follower counts on LinkedIn by using this URL formula: https://lnkd.in/eZVGHWzb. It’s not fancy, but it works! ⚡️ #Tips #Strategy #digitalmarketing

Should we still use hashtags in our LinkedIn posts? #️⃣ ✅ Yes and ❌ No LinkedIn took away featured hashtags on profiles last month. And I think it reflects a broader trend on social media that hashtags are being ✨phased out✨ as a discoverability method. Most social media platforms are trying to improve their algorithms to give you better personalised content and update their search to be more semantic. It's reasonable that LinkedIn would be going the same way. Poor discoverability can make or break a platform. So what do we do with hashtags? As it stands currently on LinkedIn: ✅ You can still follow a hashtag ✅ You can still search a hashtag But: ❌ I think they'll be placing less and less emphasis on them ❌ And while I think they won't completely get rid of them any time soon (they're a bit of an internet relic at this point), I don't think it'll be the way your content gets discovered anymore. What am I gonna do? 🤷🏻♀️ I'll keep 'em for now 😉 #LITranslators #Hashtags #FrickinFreelance

The basic thing, a lot of you don't know! I often forget, the trend for marketers might be weird for others. Your hashtag has more power than you don't know, a lot of you. But, how? - You use yourself created hashtags - You use hashtags related to your brand - You use hashtags specific to you business But they'll not help you to get visibility 🚫 I see a lot of posts with long hashtags. Hashtags that don't have any follower. Your prospects wouldn't find you unless they're actively looking for your help. And, chances are they are not looking for 👇 #SocialMediaMarketingGuru They'll not find you out, if you don't exist. Also, such hashtags don't expand your audience Don't worry, if this is new to you! It's no too late to start with hashtags again. - Don't use too many hashtags, please - Put a blend between those having a lot of followers and those having but more niche hashtags. (Niche follower means 20k, at least.) Follow for more helpful content! Reshare ♻️, to help your friends! PS. How many hashtags, you stuff in your post? #socialmedia #contentcreator #socialmediamanagement

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐈’𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐖𝐡𝐲....... “Use hashtags to increase your post visibility.” Sound familiar? You’ve probably been bombarded with this advice from every “LinkedIn expert” out there. Add hashtags to your posts. The more, the better, right? Well, in my own opinion, it’s overrated. This strategy doesn’t work the way you might think, and here’s why. When I started on LinkedIn, I was all about hashtags. I’d meticulously research and use over 10-15 hashtags on every post Convinced I was on my way to viral let me spill the tea here, ➡️ Not all hashtags are created equal. You can drown your posts in hashtags. But if they don’t resonate with your content or audience, it’s a wasted effort. ➡️ Quality over quantity. It’s about using a few carefully chosen hashtags that genuinely reflect your content. Less is often more. Targeted hashtags help connect you with an audience that cares. ➡️ Algorithmic changes can mess with your reach. Overloading your posts with hashtags can flag your content as spam. Limiting your reach instead of expanding it. The algorithm frowns at excessive use of hashtags, at least 3 to 5 is enough. If you want to use hashtags here are a few things to take note of 🔑 Focused on niche-specific hashtags that attracted my target audience. This switch will make a difference in your engagement. 🔑 Monitor your performance. Tracked which hashtags brought in views and interactions Refining your strategy over time. 🔑 Do not use excessive hashtags The Algorithms frowns at it and it can work against you reducing your post reach and visibility. 3 to 5 hashtags is enough So, the next time someone tells you to load your posts with hashtags. Pause for a moment. It’s not about how many hashtags you use It’s about how effectively you connect with your audience through relevant content. PS: What’s your take on hashtags? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Are hashtags still worth it on LinkedIn? I get this question a lot. “𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒔 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒂 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒏𝒐𝒘, 𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒇𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝒂𝒍𝒈𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒎𝒔?” Let’s get real about it. Hashtags might feel old-school, but they’re still powerful – if you use them right. They work in two ways They help push your content to the right audience and pull in content you actually want to see. For example: you’re on LinkedIn, looking for insights on #MarketingTips. Instantly, your feed is filled with posts on just that. Or maybe you're on Instagram, searching for #shoes – suddenly, there’s a world of options waiting for you. But here’s the catch!!!! Hashtags can go wrong, fast. Ever seen posts overloaded with random hashtags? It’s spammy, kills engagement, and doesn’t add value. That’s why relevance is key. So, are hashtags worth using? Absolutely. Just keep it focused. You need to stick to 3-5 hashtags that truly match your post. How about you? Are you still using hashtags, or have you moved on? Drop a comment – I’d love to hear! #LinkedIn #Hashtags #DigitalMarketing #marketingtips #getcatalyzed

Hashtags are important, especially when you start out! They can boost your account’s visibility and help you reach more people at the start. 🚀 The key is to know how to use them correctly. 🔑 There are 3 categories for hashtags ⬇️ 1️⃣ Small tags: 10-100k posts 2️⃣ Medium tags: 101-500k posts 3️⃣ Big Tags: Over 500k posts Here’s the secret three part tag strategy I recommend using 👇 → If you have less than 1k followers, use 10 small tags, 4 medium tags and 1 big tag. → If you have 1k-10k followers, use 10-3-2 formula for your hashtags. → If you have 10-50k followers, use 7-5-2 formula for your hashtags. → If you have more than 50k followers, use 5-5-5 formula for your hashtags. www.add4profit.com #add4profit #instgramreels
