I think we should make some kind of flying tool kits so actually mumbai local could be less compact. None of the metro roads or flying cars are anywhere solving crisis. Again greater the magnitude of people, greater the issue. One strategy was that employment be made available to all people, rural or cities. Which is going to change given the schemes and projects ongoing. Moreover management and research and circular economy jobs will increase. IIT Madras has achieved a milestone in transportation innovation by completing India’s first 410-meter Hyperloop test track. Spearheaded by the Avishkar Hyperloop team, comprising 76 students and supported by TuTr, this futuristic technology promises speeds of 1,000 kmph. The project will proceed in two phases, starting with an 11.5-kilometer test track, expanding to 100 kilometers upon validation.  The Mumbai-Pune corridor is the proposed site for India’s first Hyperloop, cutting travel time to 25 minutes, faster than air travel. With ticket prices between Rs 1,000-1,500, Hyperloop aims to provide ultra-fast, affordable inter-city connectivity across major Indian cities by 2027-28. The Cabinet, chaired by PM Narendra Modi, has approved the PM Electric Drive Revolution (PM E-DRIVE) Scheme, aimed at accelerating the adoption of EVs in the country. Total Scheme Outlay: ₹10,900 crores over two years   Detailed Breakdown: 1. ₹8,000 crores for Demand Incentives: a. 10 lakh electric two-wheelers (₹3,500 crores) b. 5 lakh electric three-wheelers (₹2,000 crores) c. 50,000 electric buses (₹2,000 crores) d. ₹500 crores for emerging EV segments like electric ambulances and trucks e. ₹1,000 crores allocated to the Vehicle Scrapping Program: 2. Incentives for scrapping old trucks to encourage adoption of electric trucks, aimed at significantly reducing pollution from heavy-duty vehicles. a. Buyers with vehicle scrapping certificates will receive extra incentives. 3. ₹500 crores for deploying Electric Ambulances: a. To introduce e-ambulances for patient transport in public and private sectors, focusing on green healthcare mobility. 4. ₹600 crores for expanding EV Charging Infrastructure: a.Installation of 1,500 fast chargers in cities with high EV penetration and along key highways. b. 100 fast chargers specifically for electric buses. c. 400 fast chargers dedicated to electric two-wheelers and cars. 4. ₹800 crores for upgrading Vehicle Testing Agencies: a. Upgraded facilities will ensure vehicles meet global safety standards and boost domestic manufacturing under the Phased Manufacturing Program (PMP). 5. ₹1,000 crores for Public Transport Agencies: a. Funding to help State Transport Undertakings (STUs) procure electric buses. b.
