Python or C++: Which Should You Choose for Your Career? Choosing between Python and C++ can be crucial for your career path. For instance, C++ is the go-to language used in high-frequency trading. Moving data in micro- and nanoseconds is critical in this field, and the performance and speed of C++ make it indispensable. If you are aiming for a career with this kind of high-performance-oriented job, C++ is enough, not even Python or Java. Python, on the other hand, is the preferred language in data science.   Its simplicity, extensive libraries, and strong community support make it ideal for tasks involving data analysis, machine learning, and AI. So people, if you are going for a data science job in data science or analytics, Python will serve you well and is the best choice.

Choosing a language is completely up to the requirements. yes C++ is a great language but it's use case is niched such as DSP embedded VST game engines etc. Python is an scientific language used with Data Ai and so On Yet my preference is Java script. I find Java script very versatile and i find it very powerful while developing consumer products

True C++ is the go-to language for High Frequency Trading. But, to empasize on "Memory Safety" and "Zero-Cost Abstraction" RUST is the best choice for it. RUST's strict compiler makes sure to enforce Memory Safety which helps to eliminate Bugs, Crashes which transends through a trading system.

Both Python and C++ have their strengths. If you aim for high-frequency trading, go for C++. For data science and analytics, Python is the way to go. Choose wisely Arun Prakash M

Very informative. But I would always bat for the students to learn C++ or Java first. Python is comparatively an easier language to learn. I am seeing many students who start with learning Python struggle to learn languages like Java or .Net while allocating them to Projects.
