Is passion really innate or something you can develop? Many people think passion is something you're born with - that there's an internal fire burning inside you driving your interests from day one. But the truth is, passion isn't innate. It's something you nurture and grow over time. Passion is a seed that gets planted through experiences, exposure, and exploration. Maybe tinkering with something as a kid sparked curiosity that blossomed into a lifelong pursuit. Or maybe you stumbled across a new hobby or area of study almost by accident that ended up captivating you. The key is giving that seed plenty of sunlight, water, and nurturing to allow it to sprout and flourish. Immersing yourself in them through study, practice, and seeking out others who share that interest. And sticking with it, giving passion time to take root and blossom. Passion doesn't strike like lightning - it develops gradually through sustained effort and commitment. It ebbs and flows, growing stronger or temporarily fading based on your engagement with it. But if you remain open and feed it, passion can become an incredible driving force. One that provides purpose, energy, and direction. So don't wait around for passion to find you. Seek out new experiences, give your curiosities space to grow, and actively cultivate areas of deep personal interest. In doing so, you'll develop passion in the most authentic and sustainable way.
