So it begins… As a part of our thesis project with Emma Bondeson we are investigating how we can redesign products to be repairable and increase their lifespan. The first step is to disassemble an existing product to understand how parts are connected and how to take them apart. First finding: Snap fits seem challenging to detect and manage (from the consumer's perspective).
