What are your weekend plans? Are you meeting up with friends? Imagine if one of your friends is an amazing podcaster—then you might end up recording a podcast together! That’s exactly what I did last weekend with Owais Ahmad Khan. Did you hear that Google fired their entire Python team? That’s quite significant, isn’t it? This decision might be related to the fact that Google had 25% of its code generated through AI last year. That was one of the topics we discussed during our conversation titled "Resilience in the AI Age: Securing the Future of Software Engineers and Professional Services." If you were given the opportunity to have 25% of your work done using AI-generated code, what would you do? Let me know your thoughts in the comments, and I would be happy to spark a productive discussion. #AI #podcast #futureofWork #futureproofing
Well I am not aware of whole situation on firing python team at google, as far i remember it was cost cutting decision. Is AI capable to generate code only for python ? what about rest of teams? How can we link "firing ai team" was decision based on AI code generation.
