Education transforms lives, and the first day of school is always a meaningful moment for both children and parents. 🎒📚 At this special time of year, we aim to make this day memorable for children in need who face challenges with limited resources. Colleagues from AROBS Group, the AROBS Foundation, and AROBS Engineering came together to donate fully equipped backpacks to children supported by Fundatia Salvati Copiii and CERT Transilvania. 💙🎒 📓 Our goal is to inspire them to keep learning, growing, and thriving in the classroom and beyond! 🌱

Jem. P. Ronnie was a young orphan begging on the streets of Kampala, Uganda, when he encountered a good samaritan. She asked why he wasn't in school, and eventually helped him find his educational footing. That was the impetus for him to eventually launch the nonprofit Go So High Foundation (GSHF), which focuses on "educating and nurturing marginalized children to discover themselves and to unleash their potential in order for them to achieve their dreams in the right way." Coordinator to Value360 & Audit Teams; Co-Chair of CohnReznick CARES Committee; North Carolina Notary Public
Hello Colleagues, Connections, and Friends! The CohnReznick LLP Charlotte office CARES initiative for July has been collecting donations for Classroom Central. Through their partnerships, each $1 donated becomes $9 worth of distributed supplies for students in our community. These donations give students the supplies they need for a successful school year. Every dollar donated (via the link below) through the end of the day today will go to purchasing kits that will be given to local students in need. We will assemble these kits ourselves, and deliver them to Classroom Central next month. Please consider making a small (or large) donation to our local students and teachers! Consider this insight from a 3rd-grade teacher in Charlotte: "There are always unseen challenges for students. As teachers, we strive to understand and address the struggles they face outside the classroom. When kids live in poverty and high-stress environments, focusing on learning to read or understand fractions becomes incrementally more difficult, not to mention the stress of worrying if they can get the necessary books and supplies they need to complete their homework and lessons. With the help of Classroom Central, I can alleviate at least one of their stressors, making it easier for them to feel capable and successful while they're at school." Thank you for any and all donations!! <3 https://lnkd.in/gQezNchQ

Disrupt Gives is supporting a great cause! Did you know that nearly 20,000 in SBISD are considered economically disadvantaged? These students have families who make difficult choices on where to use their resources, and pencils, pens, notebooks, and highlighters are not always near the top of the list. As funding shrinks and economic challenges grow, our campuses and our teachers are unable to fill those gaps. That 's where Spring Branch Education Foundation and generous donors can step in to help. Distupt Gives has joined SBEF School Supplies Co-Chairs, Becky Fenn, and Kristi Robishaw, as they continue to equip Spring Branch ISD students with the tools they need to successfully start the school year. $15 can provide school supplies for a student $330 can provide school supplies for an entire classroom of elementary school students $1,650 can provide school supplies for an entire elementary school grade level Please consider making a donation to SBEF's Project School Supplies https://lnkd.in/gRc7YS2t #nonprofitssupportingnonprofits #sbef #sbisd #students #schoolsupplies

The Matiza Church of Christ in Zimbabwe’s Bocha Marange, is on a mission to bring education closer to the children of Matiza village and its neighboring communities. The challenges are real and pressing: children walking up to 11 kilometers to school, facing dangers that have tragically led to some going missing or even losing their lives in the Odzi River. Recognizing the urgent need for a safer, accessible learning environment, the local Headman has generously allocated land to the church for this noble purpose. However, the vision of constructing a school on this land faces a significant hurdle - resources. The church, despite its dedication and commitment to the community's education and safety, lacks the necessary funds to bring this project to life. This is where PACT Missionaries steps in. We at PACT are calling on our compassionate supporters to join forces in support of the Matiza Church of Christ. Together, we can turn the tide for these children, offering them the chance to learn and grow in a safe environment, close to their homes. Your contribution to this cause is not just a donation; it's an investment in the future of Matiza's children, ensuring they have access to the education they deserve without the perilous journey. Join us in this critical mission to raise $250,000 for the construction of a school that promises not only education but safety and hope for the future. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us a step closer to making this dream a reality for the children of Matiza village. Let's unite for the cause of education, safety, and a brighter future. #PACTforEducation #BuildMatizaSchool #EducationForAll #SafeLearning #CommunityDevelopment #InvestInFuture #HopeForChildren #MatizaMission #PACTSupports #EducationIsARight #TransformLives #ActNow #GiveBack #SupportTheFuture #CommunityEmpowerment
